11. Mode of payment: Online payment - debit card/credit card/net banking/UPI.
12. HALL TICKET:
The hall ticket will be available for download tentatively by 2 weeks prior to the exam date. We will confirm the same through an announcement once it is published.
13. FOR CANDIDATES WHO WOULD LIKE TO WRITE MORE THAN 1 COURSE EXAM:- you can add or delete courses and pay separately – till the date when the exam form closes. Same day of exam – you can write exams for 2 courses in the 2 sessions. Same exam center will be allocated for both the sessions.
14. Data changes:
Last date for data changes: August 30, 2024 - 5:00 PM:
We will charge an additional fee of Rs. 200 each to make any changes related to name, DOB, photo, signature, SC/ST and PWD certificates after the last date of data changes.

Professor Raj Jaswa - Silicon Valley
The first video story tells the story of Professor Rajen Jaswa. Prof. Raj Jaswa is an accomplished technology entrepreneur. He became the CEO of Dyyno in 2009. Professor Raj was also co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of Selectica (1996 to 2002), which went public in 2000 and was included in the Forbes 500 and other prominent lists. Previously, Professor Raj co-founded Opti in 1988, where he served first as Executive VP of Sales and Marketing and then as President until 1996. During 2003-2008, he volunteered full-time for TiE Silicon Valley, first serving as Director and then as President; he continues to serve on its Global Board of Trustees. Professor Jaswa has a B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay, a Master degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, and an MBA from Stetson University.
In this video, Professor Raj shares his personal journey from an ‘Engineer to an Entrepreneur’.
Mr. Ramesh Mangaleswaran - McKinsey
The second video story is from Mr. Ramesh Mangaleswaran. Mr. Ramesh Mangaleswaran is a Senior Partner at McKinsey and Company Inc. He obtained his B. Tech. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1989 and Master in Business Management from IIM Ahmedabad. In his client work, Mr. Mangaleswaran supports top management of companies across sectors in shaping strategy, building operational excellence, and strengthening their organizations. He has developed 5-year growth strategies for several major businesses in the civil, infrastructure, concessions and heavy manufacturing sectors, designed and executed large-scale transformation efforts in breakthrough cost reduction and adoption of advanced analytics and digital technologies for performance improvement etc. Mr. Mangaleswaran was awarded “ET Prime Givers 2014” (list of philanthropists in India) and by Business Today in “25 young leaders under 40” in 2008.

Mr. Kalpit Veerwal – IITJEE AIR 1, Entrepreneur
The third video story comes from Mr. Kalpit Veerwal. Mr. Kalpit Veerwal is an entrepreneur who founded acadboost.com in 2018. He shot to fame in 2017 when he became the first and only person ever to score full marks in the prestigious IIT Joint Entrance Examination at the age of 17. He holds a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay. In his free time, he likes mentoring JEE aspirants, school students, and college students on YouTube. He is also a public speaker and has given 100+ guest lectures, Ted Talks & seminars in prestigious colleges like IITs, IIITs, and NITs (including the likes of IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur).

Professor Umakant Jayaram – DS School of Entrepreneurship IIT Bombay
Professor Umakant Jayaram is faculty member at the Desai Sethi School of Entrepreneurship at IIT Bombay. He is currently serving as Director Public Interest at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). He is an IIT Bombay alumnus and a Certified Chartered Financial Analyst. He was part of the first batch of the dedicated Advanced Capital Markets Program in Wall Street conducted by Shearson Lehman Hutton in 1991, in his stint at the American Express Bank. He has over 30-year experience in global capital markets, corporate finance, analytics, data sciences and strategy.
In the past he has set up and managed global centres of excellence for global banks and managed large scale global risk and trading books. Professor Umakant presents a series of five video stories covering vital aspects of ‘Entrepreneurial Finance’ – Financial literacy for entrepreneurs, Basic accounting and managing cashflow for startups, Unit cost economics for startups, Finance planning for startups and Startup valuation.

Business Fundamentals For Entrepreneurs (Part 1: Internal Operation):Welcome to NPTEL Online Course - July 2023!!
- Every week, about 2.5 to 4 hours of videos containing content by the Course instructor will be released along with an assignment based on this. Please watch the lectures, follow the course regularly and submit all assessments and assignments before the due date. Your regular participation is vital for learning and doing well in the course. This will be done week on week through the duration of the course.
- Please do the assignments yourself and even if you take help, kindly try to learn from it. These assignments will help you prepare for the final exams. Plagiarism and violating the Honor Code will be taken very seriously if detected during the submission of assignments.
- The announcement group - will only have messages from course instructors and teaching assistants - regarding the lessons, assignments, exam registration, hall tickets, etc.
- The discussion forum (Ask a question tab on the portal) - is for everyone to ask questions and interact. Anyone who knows the answers can reply to anyone's post and the course instructor/TA will also respond to your queries.
- Please make maximum use of this feature as this will help you learn much better.
- If you have any questions regarding the exam, registration, hall tickets, results, queries related to the technical content in the lectures, any doubts in the assignments, etc can be posted in the forum section
- The course is free to enroll and learn from. But if you want a certificate, you have to register and write the proctored exam conducted by us in person at any of the designated exam centres.
- The exam is optional for a fee of Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only).
