Prof. Santosh Rangnekar

IIT Roorkee
Prof. Santosh Rangnekar, is a professor (HAG) affiliated with Department of Management Studies, Department of Design, and Centre of Transportation, IIT Roorkee. Prof. Santosh is the Ex-Chairman DRC and Ex-HoD, IIT Roorkee. He is also a visiting professor at Hanyang University, South Korea and IIM, Sirmaur. He has conducted more than 100 training programs for industries and academia and had several international academic visits for his outstanding work. Prof. Sir is among the top 10 of outstanding teachers in IIT Roorkee. Prof. Sir has authored More than 217 publications in international and national journals.
Prof. Santosh Rangnkear has more than 28 years of Academic Experience and more than 9 Years of Industry Experience. Prof. Santosh Rangnekar has been actively involved in Teaching, Training, Research, Project and Consultancy and Administration.

2. LEAP 1-Leadership for Academicians Programme jointly with Michigan University, USA (sponsored by Ministry of Human Resource) worth Rs. 3.25. Crore organized successfully in 2019(November 17-December 7, 2019).

● Project titled “Role of ICT in Empowering Women Entrepreneurs in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Bihar”, India has been approved by SPARC, Ministry of Education with grant-in-aid Rs. 46,16,726 with a duration of 2 Years as CO-PI.
● Short-term project titled “Assessment of the research and expected socio-economic impact of KGB water freight Corridor on stakeholder in perspective of PM Gati Shakti” has been approved by ICSSR with a grant-in-aid of Rs. 12,00,000 as a CO-PI.
“The Management Education in Technical Institute: Academic and Industry Perspective” has been approved by the ICSSR with a grant-in-aid of Rs. 20,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty lakhs only) with a duration of 24 Months (2018-2020).
● PI in project entitled “An Empirical Study on Proximate Determinants of Creation of Intellectual Property (IP) in Uttarakhand” worth Rs. 4.36 lakh
● Co PI in Knowledge management project worth of Rs. 7 Cr.

The course is free to enroll and learn from. But if you want a certificate, you have to register and write the proctored exam conducted by us in person at any of the designated exam centres.
The exam is optional for a fee of Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only).
Date and Time of Exams: May 4, 2025 Morning session 9am to 12 noon; Afternoon Session 2pm to 5pm.

CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE

Average assignment score = 25% of average of best 8 assignments out of the total 12 assignments given in the course.
Exam score = 75% of the proctored certification exam score out of 100

Final score = Average assignment score + Exam score

Please note that assignments encompass all types (including quizzes, programming tasks, and essay submissions) available in the specific week.

YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A CERTIFICATE ONLY IF AVERAGE ASSIGNMENT SCORE >=10/25 AND EXAM SCORE >= 30/75. If one of the 2 criteria is not met, you will not get the certificate even if the Final score >= 40/100.

Certificate will have your name, photograph and the score in the final exam with the breakup.It will have the logos of NPTEL and IIT Roorkee .It will be e-verifiable at nptel.ac.in/noc.

Only the e-certificate will be made available. Hard copies will not be dispatched.
