The proposed course is a program to use language of mind consistently to achieve a specific and desired outcome. This course aims to train a person to make an introspection of his or her own self. The course will also study the structure of subjective experience. Neuro Linguistic Programming focuses and polishes the human excellence and communication. This program works with modelling studying an expert in the field and then breaking down the process of what makes students successful into thoughts beliefs values and actions. Applying this process a student recognises his/her potential and ability to replicate the same meaningful results and discover the core aspects of success.

Instructor bio

Prof. Smita Jha

IIT Roorkee
Prof. Smita Jha is currently working as Professor of English language and literature in the Department of Humanities & Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. She has done M.A. in English (Gold Medalist) from Bihar University, Bihar. She has done Post graduate diploma in teaching English from CIEFL, Hyderabad. Prof. Smita Jha has more than 29 years of teaching experience both at UG and PG level. She has developed course on communication skill and stage fright for the B.Tech students, and running the topic at first-year B.Tech level for several years. She has published more than 60 papers in refereed journals. She has also written books on divers topics like Nativization of English prose, partition literature etc. Her research areas are Soft Skills, Linguistics, Indian writing in English, World Literature, Contemporary Literary Theory, ELT. She has supervised more than ten research scholars on various aspects of literature. She has done a Post-graduate diploma course in linguistics from Central Institute of English & Foreign languages, Hyderabad, India.

Course certificate

The course is free to enroll and learn from. But if you want a certificate, you have to register and write the proctored exam conducted by us in person at any of the designated exam centres.
The exam is optional for a fee of Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only).
Date and Time of Exams: 
21 September 2024 Morning session 9am to 12 noon; Afternoon Session 2pm to 5pm.

The online registration form has to be filled and the certification exam fee needs to be paid. More details will be made available when the exam registration form is published. If there are any changes, it will be mentioned then.

CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE

Average assignment score = 25% of average of best 3 assignments out of the total 4 assignments given in the course.
Exam score = 75% of the proctored certification exam score out of 100

Final score = Average assignment score + Exam score

YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A CERTIFICATE ONLY IF AVERAGE ASSIGNMENT SCORE >=10/25 AND EXAM SCORE >= 30/75. If one of the 2 criteria is not met, you will not get the certificate even if the Final score >= 40/100.

Certificate will have your name, photograph and the score in the final exam with the breakup.It will have the logos of NPTEL and IIT Roorkee .It will be e-verifiable at nptel.ac.in/noc.

Only the e-certificate will be made available. Hard copies will not be dispatched.
